At Seoul IDRC Meeting with the Court of Arbitration for Sports (the "CAS") on 28 February 2017, Young Seok Lee (Seoul IDRC Secretary-General) presented to the CAS Secretary-General, Matthieu Reeb, Korea's merits as the hub of international arbitration in light of Korea's friendly legal system further enhanced by amendment of the Korean Arbitration Act in 2016, and availability of Seoul IDRC as a dedicated hearing facility.
